Tier II Ready for Ohio facilities

Your Tier II report, ready to sign

Send us your safety data sheets and how much you keep on site. We send back your Ohio filing, a plain-English summary and step-by-step submission instructions. $395 per facility. Reports for 2026 are due March 1, 2027.

Run electric forklifts? Check your battery acid.

Lead-acid forklift batteries hold sulfuric acid, which EPA lists as an extremely hazardous substance. For those, the reporting line is 500 lb, not 10,000 lb.

Assumes about 2,000 lb per battery, with 10–30% sulfuric acid by weight (the range on a typical manufacturer's safety data sheet). Your batteries may differ; we use your actual figures.

How it works

  2. We prepare the reportOur software checks every chemical against the federal and Ohio rules, works out what's inside mixtures like battery acid, and flags anything unclear. We go through every line before it reaches you.
  3. You check, sign and submitWe deliver in January, well ahead of the March 1 deadline. You sign the certification and send it in, following our steps.

Price

$395for your first facility
$295for each additional facility

Ohio charges its own filing fee, paid by you directly to the state: $150, plus $20 for each chemical reported and $150 for each extremely hazardous one, capped at $2,500.

If your facility holds more than 1,000 lb of sulfuric acid, Ohio also needs a one-time emergency planning notice. We can prepare that too.
